International Pilates Conference Seville (IPCS) 2018 is your opportunity to spend three days in beautiful Seville, Spain learning from internationally acclaimed Pilates instructors:
Hosted by Personal & Pilates, IPCS features small class sizes (max 20 participants) and plenty of equipment, so you can truly absorb what you learn. Over the three days, presenters will share their knowledge and passion with Pilates and movement professionals and students from all over the world, who want to grow professionally and have fun in the process!
IPCS consists of six 3-hour workshops: two taught by Mary Bowen, and four workshops each taughtby a different master instructor. All conference participants will have access to all six workshops.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to take private lessons with the presenters at prescheduled times.
Workshops taught in English, with simultaneous translation into Spanish.
18 Continuing Education Credits (CECs) from the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA).

"Movement Heals" Why do we teach the Elephant? Why the Footwork is so important? In this workshop we will work with the fundamentals "Move from the back" and "Two ways to stretch". We will find the connection of the movement executed from the back along with the two ways of stretching the body, through different repertoire exercises. "Pilates is a work from inside out" How important is the Footwork and The Hundred before moving forward? We are going to transfer and break down in the classical matwork the development of advanced exercises of the the repertoire and connect it with the Reformer's exercises: Snake & Twist, Rowing Series, Short Box, Long Spine Series, Long Box and Splits. |
