Founded in 2022 by Michael Karagiorgos, this beautifull studio opened its door in the heart of Athens in 2022 and added its Golden Room with all the classical equipment by ARREGON to bring the classical pilates spirit in 2025.
All this has been possible thanks to Michael Karagiorgos, born in Athens in 1992, a Sports Science graduate and personal training expert. After discovering Pilates as a rehabilitative tool, he founded his own studio in 2022 and created Pilates LOOM Academy, an international teacher training program based on the Joseph Pilates Method, fostering excellence, innovation, and global community connection.
The Pilates LOOM Academy aims to strengthen the global Pilates community by training highly skilled 3rd-generation teachers. The program offers in-depth study of Pilates fundamentals and precise techniques to create safe, effective, and personalized classes, while also providing long-term professional mentorship. The Full Comprehensive and Master Mat courses require 450 hours of training, combining both classical and contemporary Pilates approaches. The program holds the International Teacher Trainer Accreditation for Pilates (ITTAP) from the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA), ensuring global standards of excellence and professionalism in Pilates education.
